Security milestones
OCTOBER 2025
For the second straight year, our Office of Cybersecurity is globally recognized as a Top 50 Information Security Team as part of the annual OnCon Icon Awards. Our cybersecurity team received its first OnCon award in October 2024.
JULY 2025
The Clearinghouse goes passwordless, minimizing the risk associated with the top attack vector used by malicious actors to compromise credentials. In addition, our M365 security users group grows to over 900 members across seven countries.
JANUARY 2025
The Clearinghouse attains Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) compliance, version 4.0.1, which protects sensitive payment card data and prevents fraud. The Clearinghouse received PCI DSS, version 3.0 compliance in April 2014.
SEPTEMBER 2022
Privacy controls are included as part of our independent annual SOC 2 Type 2 security audit.
JANUARY 2021
We partner with REN-ISAC to create and lead the M365 security users’ group, where members can share threat intelligence, best practices, and solutions for securing the Microsoft 365 environment.
OCTOBER 2019
The Clearinghouse attains the SOC2 Type 2 report ─ and every year since ─ proving our data security controls are effective over time. The Clearinghouse attained the SOC 2 Type 1 report in March 2018.
MARCH 2019
The Clearinghouse begins implementing the zero trust security model (“never trust, always verify”), which is now in place for both internal and external users of our sites and systems.
