    Chief Product Officer (CPO)

    As the trusted source for secure, authenticated education data, the Clearinghouse sits at the intersection of education and the workforce. I’m excited to work with the organization and turn trusted data into even more dynamic, actionable insights — advancing products and partnerships that expand opportunities for learners and the institutions that serve them.

    Andrew Martelli leads the Clearinghouse’s product strategy for both secondary and postsecondary institutions, overseeing its comprehensive suite of services that includes verification, data exchange, learner insights, and compliance support. Mr. Martelli ensures that our product development efforts are guided by market intelligence, institutional priorities, and a clear and disciplined roadmap. He also plays a pivotal role in elevating our Philanthropy, Research, and Custom Research initiatives, driving impactful collaborations and innovative solutions that benefit our stakeholders.

    Mr. Martelli has spent over 30 years operating at the intersection of product innovation, business operations, and strategic growth. In his previous role, he was the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Kira Talent, where he led the company’s technological vision, overseeing product development, engineering, and cross-functional strategy.

    Prior to Kira Talent, Martelli served as Chief Operating Officer at The Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning, where he directed operations, shaped organizational strategy, and managed key technology partnerships. He has also held senior leadership roles at the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and CEB (now part of Gartner), as well as at other notable institutions.

    Mr. Martelli holds a B.S. in Imaging Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. in Analytical Consulting, Competitive Strategy, and Marketing from Northwestern University.
