Join Tom Butler, Senior Associate Registrar at GMU, to learn how he’s been working with two-year colleges to award Reverse Transfer degrees. In May 2023, 57 George Mason University students were awarded associate degrees at the two-year colleges from which they transferred.

George Mason University is Virginia’s largest public research university. Located near Washington, D.C., Mason enrolls nearly 40,000 students from 130 countries and all 50 states.  With 10 schools and colleges offering more than 200 degree programs, Mason is a vibrant community of scholars and researchers that spans three campuses in Arlington (Mason Square), Fairfax, and Prince William and learning locations across the Commonwealth of Virginia. George Mason University also has an international campus in Songdo, South Korea.
