Once the student’s record is expanded, you will be presented with the student’s details.
Open programs when presented on the details screen, will have the program enrollment status, and program enrollment status effective date fields in blank. Please note, you may also see programs already populated with W or G status in the student’s program information, that are not errors, and that do not require correction, as programs with a closed status will have the program enrollment status, and program enrollment status effective date fields populated.

To resolve error 214, you will need to review the open/ blank program in question, and If the student is no longer enrolled in that program, update the program enrollment status field accordingly.
Once the program enrollment status field has been updated, the program status effective date field is then highlighted in red for your convenience, to advise that this field also needs to be populated, in order to submit the correction.
Please note, If the Campus level is updated to an active/ open status, the open/blank programs under the Program level will be highlighted in red. If the Campus level is updated to a closed status, then, the Status Start Date field, as well as the Program enrollment status field for open/blank programs, will be highlighted in red. Also, If a student is considered, Never attended, under the program in question, the program status effective date, should match the program begin date.

To submit your changes, select the “Submit for Validation” button located towards the top of the screen.
