Let's review the program level report warning codes related to when an invalid flag is set to Y.

When a program is marked with an invalid flag set to Y, the system generates a warning code for review. This is your opportunity to verify your election. The difference in the two warning codes is whether the program was reported to NSLDS. 6056 existing program no longer valid occurs when your institution previously reported this program to NSLDS for the current reporting cycle. If you continue with the Y status, it will remove the program from NSLDS. If this is your intent, please acknowledge the programs. 6057 No match found for the program record to be invalidated occurs when the program was never reported to NSLDS such as due to there being less than 30 completers for the program. If you elect to continue with the Y status, NSLDS may return an additional error as the program doesn't exist in their system for your FVT/GE reporting. Essentially, you are asking NSLDS to remove or mark a program as invalid that doesn't exist in their reporting records. If you don't want the program to be reported to NSLDS, exclude the program. If you update the invalid flag to no, the program will be reported to NSLDS without any error being returned from NSLDS. To make changes, navigate to the warnings tab of the program level report data correction section and click on the warning code name. All programs are listed in a table. If you need to update an invalid flag, click on the program name, then update the field and validate it. You can acknowledge the programs on the warning codes resolution page. If you have questions, reach out to us. Thank you for watching.
