Redesigned Retention and Persistence Benchmarking Dashboard

May 23, 2022 | Postsecondary Data Partnership

The redesigned Retention and Persistence Benchmarking Dashboard is now available for institutions, as well as educational organizations, that participate in the Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP).

The PDP team has improved two attributes of the dashboard:

  1. Look and feel: The dashboard now has a scrollable/vertical style, like the Transfer Benchmarking Dashboard. Additionally, we combined the two stacked bar visualizations into a single visual to allow for easier comparison of the retention, persistence, and not enrolled rates at the cohort institution versus the benchmarking institutions.
  2. Functionality: We added a Dimension Breakout feature for selected dimensions to the line graph. This breakout enables more granular analysis by comparing specific student subgroups to similar subgroups at the benchmarking institutions. Additionally, when users select a dimension and then category from the line graph, the stacked bar visual displays retention, persistence, and not enrolled rates for the selected category.

We will continue to redesign the remaining benchmarking dashboards (Outcomes, CAR, and CCR) across the coming months, so please watch for more updates as each is released.

PDP users can go here to log on and use the redesigned Retention and Persistence Benchmarking Dashboard (click the “Log In” button under “Log In To Your Dashboards”). Please note, further information about the improved functionality can also be found in the dashboard guide.
