Handling Requests to Reverify a Verification

Q: How Should We Handle Requests from Requestors to Reverify Verifications?

A: Your school should refer all requestor inquiries – including reverification requests – to our Verification Services Web site, located at www.degreeverify.org. This is the most effective way to redirect requestors and encourage them to stop contacting your school directly.

If the requestor declines to use the site or the inquiries persist, get the requestor’s name, company name, contact information, and transaction order, if available. Forward this information to the Clearinghouse via email or call us at 703-742-4200. We’ll work with you to find the best way to resolve the requestor’s issue.
