After consulting with our contacts at Federal Student Aid (FSA), the Clearinghouse has made a change to our logic for determining the Campus-Level Status Effective Date.
If no Campus-Level Status Effective Date is provided for students who are reported in a lower active status at the beginning of a new term than at the end of the previous term, the begin date of the new term will be used as the student’s Campus-Level Status Effective Date. The Clearinghouse has confirmed that our logic remains compliant with federal reporting requirements.
For additional information on Campus-Level Status Effective Dates, please refer to the following guides from the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS):
- NSLDS Enrollment Reporting Guide (p. 21)
- NSLDS Enrollment Reporting Guide Appendices (pp. 162-164)
