NSLDS Site Delays Do Not Impact Clearinghouse Enrollment Reporting

Recently, Federal Student Aid (FSA) posted announcements to its Knowledge Center regarding the accessibility of their updated National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Professional Access Website, including delays to the availability of some functionality.

We wanted to share the following updates from FSA with you and assure you that there is no impact to the Clearinghouse Enrollment Reporting processes. You can read FSA’s latest announcement here.

What You Need to Know About Delays to NSLDS Processing

  • As of August 3, 2022, FSA continues to finalize enrollment reporting functionality. Consequently, NSLDS’s processing of Enrollment Rosters, submittals, and NSLDS error acknowledgements are on hold, although expected to resume the week of August 8, 2022.
  • FSA has requested users stop uploading Enrollment Spreadsheet Submittals into NSLDS and stop performing online updates via Enrollment Maintenance. Once these functionalities are again available, FSA/NSLDS will publish a notice.
  • Until NSLDS enrollment functionality is fully operational, FSA has suspended all NSLDS enrollment reporting compliance notifications, including late NSLDS Roster notifications.

The Clearinghouse continues to be in communication with FSA regarding the availability of their data processing capabilities to ensure our schools remain in compliance.
