What does "record found no" mean on the detail file? The control report of your STCU reports package contains a count of total students with no response data available. This shows the number of students in your request file for which no academic data could be returned. The Clearinghouse cannot return any enrollment or degree information for students in your request file who attend or have attended a school that does not report information to us, have no records in the Clearinghouse database within your search date parameters, do not match any records in the Clearinghouse database or have blocks in place for all of their academic records as we are unable to provide this information due to FERPA rules and regulations. For students that fall into any of these categories, the record found indicator column in the detail file has an N, meaning that no student level academic records are available. For more information, please view our other tutorials online.
